2cureX officially launched its IndiTreat® test for colorectal cancer at the ESMO congress (Eur. Soc. Medical Oncology) in October 2020. As 2cureX is moving forward in its commercialization, the management is now presenting the commercial roadmap for 2021-23 with operational activities.

To ensure optimal coverage of our target audience 2cureX will expand the commercial team during ’21 and ’22 with several Key Account Managers. 2cureX presents commercial roadmap 2021 - 2023

\***\*Som tidigare meddelats har styrelsen i 2cureX AB (“2cureX” eller “Bolaget”) beslutat att vederlagsfritt dela ut teckningsoptioner till Bolagets aktieägare. Teckningsperioden för teckning av aktier med stöd av teckningsoptioner av serie TO1 kommer att löpa från och med den 26 april 2021 till och med den 7 maj 2021.\*\***

Som offentliggjordes genom ett pressmeddelande den 6 juli 2020 har 2cureX genomfört en riktad emission av aktier och teckningsoptioner av serie TO1. För att ge befintliga aktieägare i Bolaget möjlighet att i viss utsträckning kompensera sig för den utspädningseffekt som den riktade emissionen medför har styrelsen i 2cureX även beslutat att emittera teckningsoptioner av serie TO1 (samma serie som erhölls i den riktade emissionen) till Bolaget, som därefter vederlagsfritt tilldelas aktieägarna i Bolaget.

Avstämningsdagen för erhållande av teckningsoptioner av serie TO1 har beslutats till den 17 juli 2020. Sista dag för handel i Bolagets aktie inklusive rätt att erhålla teckningsoptioner är den 15 juli 2020. Första dag för handel exklusive rätt att erhålla teckningsoptioner av är den 16 juli 2020.

För varje helt tiotal (10) aktier innehavda på avstämningsdagen erhålls en (1) teckningsoption av serie TO1. Maximalt kan 1 242 000 teckningsoptioner av serie TO1 emitteras och levereras till befintliga aktieägare.

Varje teckningsoption av serie TO1 ger rätt att teckna en (1) ny aktie i Bolaget mot kontant betalning motsvarande 70 procent av den volymviktade genomsnittskursen i Bolagets aktie på Nasdaq First North Growth Market under perioden från och med den 9 april 2021 till och med den 22 april 2021, dock kan teckningskursen uppgå till högst 28,88 SEK och lägst kvotvärdet för 2cureX aktier. Teckningsperioden för teckning av aktier med stöd av teckningsoptioner av serie TO1 kommer att löpa från den 26 april 2021 till och med den 7 maj 2021.

Vid fullt utnyttjande av teckningsoptioner av serie TO1 kan 2cureX tillföras ytterligare maximalt cirka 70,90 MSEK, beroende på teckningskurs.

Vid fullt utnyttjande av teckningsoptioner av serie TO1 kommer utspädningen maximalt att uppgå till cirka 14,19 procent, beräknat på antalet aktier efter registreringen av den riktade emissionen.

2cureX har för avsikt att ansöka om notering av teckningsoptionerna av serie TO1 vid Nasdaq First North Growth Market så snart som möjligt efter det att emissionerna registrerats och tilldelning till befintliga aktieägare skett.

At the same time Timm Jessen, founding partner of 2cureX has announced that he will step down from the Board for personal reasons.\*\***

2cureX AB expands its Board of Directors with Michael Lutz and Nils Brünner

\***\*2cureX AB (“2cureX”) today announces that it together with Scandion Oncology A/S, Copenhagen and Erasmus Medical Centre, Rotterdam has received a grant of 800.000 EUR from Eurostars. The grant will be used to study if Scandion Oncology’s drug candidate, SCO -101 can overcome resistance to antiestrogen therapy in metastatic breast cancer patients, and if 2cureX’s IndiTreast test can stratify such patients based on SCO-101 sensitivity.\*\***

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women with more than 560.000 new cases in Europe every year. 15-20% of breast cancer patients will experience cancer spread to other organs, so called metastatic disease. Women suffering from metastatic breast cancer are often treated with antiestrogens. Unfortunately, almost all these patients will at some point become resistant to the treatment. Preclinical data have shown that SCO-101 can reverse antiestrogen resistance. In the present project it will be evaluated whether SCO-101 also can circumvent such resistance in a clinical setting. 2cureX will use its IndiTreat test to identify those patients with the highest likelihood of obtaining benefit from SCO-101 treatment.

Nils Brünner, CEO of Scandion Oncology says: “In Scandion Oncology we see a tremendous potential for SCO-101 in helping women with metastatic breast cancer that do no longer respond to antiestrogen treatment. It is therefore a pleasure to have 2cureX “on-board” with their IndiTreat technology. IndiTreat will allow us to select the metastatic patients where SCO-101 can overcome resistance. Such selection will be essential in coming clinical trials and beyond”.

We are convinced that effective stratification of cancer patients during clinical trials and after market introduction will be critical in a large number of future drug development activities. Such stratification will limit the number of patients needed to be enrolled in clinical trials, lower costs and bring new drugs to patients faster.

In 2019 we signed our first stratification agreement with Gibson Oncology in which 2cureX will stratify metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) patients based on their sensitivity to the drug candidate LMP400. Now we want to transfer our knowledge from mCRC to metastatic breast cancer patients, where there is a large clinical need”.
